Happy New Year!

Well we have let another year pass by us! You never know what the year will bring you. This year has been filled with new experiences and people(graduating from EA and going to ASU), new trials and heartaches(I love you Jeff), seeing life across the world(Australia) and traveling to different places all summer, Discovering books are fun to read( go Twilight), realizing the value of true friends and family, and so much more. I have realized I have the best parents ever! I have realized life is what ever you make it to be.

I love New Years cause it is a new beginning and a time to set new goals and achieve more in life. Good luck everyone with all your new goals. From me to you I wish everyone a Happy New Year, may 2009 be the best year ever!

DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well I did it! I survived my first semester at a BIG University and living away from home! I will admit it has been the hardest semester of my life! There were times I wished that EAC was a four year college and I could just go back; but thanks to every ones support and encouragement(mainly my parents) I found the strength to make it through! Thanks mom for the constant pep talks every night! I love you! Thanks to all of my friends I complained to and helped me smile again, you know who you are. Now I get to relax a couple weeks from school and get my work on at the movies! I hope next semester goes better cause now I think I am used to the crazy university. I haven't got my grades yet but I hope they are boring as my mom would say!

Finals and miscellaneous

Finals starts this week. My first one is on Friday. Wish me luck! I hope I survive! Oh and Amy comes home on Saturday I can't wait to see her! Oh and I got a new job at Harkins Theatre at Tempe Market Place(I have to pay rent somehow) So come watch your Christmas movies there to come visit me at my new job! I start the 16th.

2. What kind of car did you drive? White 96 mercury ford junior year(a.k.a. the crash car)- senior year my dad's nice acura( thanks daddy)!

3. Did you pass your driver's license test on the first try? I did drivers ed so I got the cool certificate and didn't even have to take the test! (true story true story- what Estrada my teacher would always say) He called me 'Lead Foot'

4. Were you a party animal? Yes with Mormon rootbeer and Koolade!!!

5. Were you considered a flirt? Well I wouldn't consider myself a flirt, but I was voted social butterfly

6. Were you in band, orchestra, or choir? I was in chior one semster cause all my friends were in it and I needed another elective, but besides that nope

7. Were you a nerd? No I would probably be your cheerleader prep

8. Were you on any varsity teams? Spiritline(cheer/dance) YEAH!!!

9. Did you get suspended/expelled? haha no

10. Can you still sing the fight song? Yes..haha...On dear ol Thatcher, hail to the brave.....

11. Who were your favorite teachers? Mrs. Woodward(junior eng) cause we would always spend half of the class talking about shoes, shopping, and Oprah! I loved Ms. Caloway too!

14. School mascot and colors? mascot-Eagles colors- green/white( I have said those words so many times in all our cheers)!! Go-Go-G-O- Go Eagles Go!!!!

15. Did you go to Homecoming and who with? Junior year- Jordan Lee(it was my first date too) Senior year- Josh Chapman

16. Did you go to Prom and who with? Junior Prom Stag(independent woman yay!), Senior Prom with Tanner Pursley(I got nominated prom queen but didn't win)

17. If you could go back and do it again, would you? Yes it was fun and I had no worries!!!

18. What do you remember most about graduation? Of coarse wearing the cool gown and cute shoes! The after party was crazy! We had a silly string fight after the ceremony

19. Where did you go senior skip day? Sun Splash woot woot!

20. Were you in any clubs? basically every club on campus: FBLA, Spirit club, Spanish club, SADD(students against destructive decsions) club, Student counsil(senior pres), NHS(natianal honor society), and Athletics club

21. Have you gained some weight since then? Ha ha what kind of question is that? ya I have

22. Are you planning on going to your 10 year reunion? Yes I have to cause I was Senior Class President so I have to plan the whole reunion

23. Did you have a job while in high school? nope, too busy with school, dance, spiritline, piano, and friends

Thanksgiving weekend!!!

So Thanksgiving was amazing! After the meal me and Emily,thanks to grandma and grandpa, bought $20 worth of junk food at CVS and had a junk food party! Then the next day some of the family(Grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins) went and saw the movie AUSTRALIA. It was really good! The guy in it, Hugh Jackman, was so HOT! Some of the movie was even filmed in the tiny outback town where the family farm is Kununurra! I felt like I was back in Australia watching it! Then we all went and ate at Logan's Roadhouse, so yummy! Then I drove home and hung out with my parents in Safford the rest of the weekend! I LOVE HOLIDAYS!!!!!

Twilight at Midnight...the 1st time that has ever happend

So the best book in the world was finally made to a movie! I was so excited to go see TWILIGHT! Me and my friends bought tickets to the midnight showing and waited starting at 8 o'clock- 4hours to see the movie. There were news cameras there and everything! I made a shirt with Edwards picture that said 'Team Edward'! When it started I was going crazy and all I could think about was seeing Edwards face blown up on the big screen! Well it turns out (my opinion) that was the only thing good about the movie, was seeing the hottest man alive on the big screen. I don't want to give anything away but I have two words to describe it cheesy and awkward! It's OK though cause I still love the books and nothing will change that. It was still a good movie if you haven't read the books and look past the cheesy awkward parts. I hope everyone still goes and sees it, just for Edwards sake! EDWARD IS SO HOT! I WANT TO MARRY HIM NOW! Oh Twilight! I have been waiting to see this movie since forever ago! I cried the first time I saw the trailer! Well they just mixed parts up and stuff, it was still good to see it in movie form. Like they say in Australia....No worries mate!

My Aunt LeNell tagged me in giving 6 quirks about me so here I go:

1. I can't stand it when clothes are wrinkled or hair is messy

2. I hate scary movies!

3. I have a secret love for fireworks and want to be purposed to under fireworks(4th of July is my favorite holiday too)

4. I love snakes and am very interested in them, esp Australia snakes!

5. I have probably 100 pairs of shoes and want to buy more!

6. I love public speaking and often volunteer to speak in church

5 days till TWILIGHT!

In 5 days on Friday the 21st the 1st movie of the Twilight series comes to theatres! YEAH! Finally Edward will be in front of my face and not only in my mind! This is an amazing day! I can't wait to watch it! GO EDWARD!

I Love my family!

Trials are hard as I have come to know now more than ever. I am so thankful for the closeness of my family! I love you all, and I am continuing to pray and think about you! Let us all lift one another up in this trying time.

Happy birthday daddy! Thanks for all the Barbie miss America stories, new car, healtly snacks, walks, dance lessons, clothes,Wii bowling competitions, trips to Hawaii, and mostaly being the best dad ever! I love you! Have a wonderful birthday!

We will miss you Jeff!

My much loved amazing cousin Jeff passsed away yesterday with cancer. He was so strong and fought so hard. At age 31 he leaves behind his beautiful wife, two cute little children, and loving family and friends! We loved him, will miss him so much, and look forward to meeting him again in Heaven!

Mom you are the best mom ever in the whole world! Thanks for coming to my endless cheer games & competitions, Dance recitals & lessons, and Piano recitals & lessons. Thanks for teaching me how to do laundry, shop, and cook beans, and basicly everything else I know! I wish I could find a way to repay you for all the things you have done for me! I hope you have an amazing fun birthday! Know you are loved and greatly appreciated by your only daughter! You are so beautiful and you never stop getting prettier even though you are over the hill! I hope you aren't to 'BUSY' to have fun on your birthday! I love you mom aka Tina, Deedra, Tom mommy, madre.

So this is my 4th picture in my 4th picture folder! So this is me in Darwin, Australia at the most amazing sunset I have ever seen in my whole life! The water was warm and you could waid out in the shallow water for several feet but we had to watch out for killer jellyfish! It was so amazing I want to move there just so I could watch that sunset and run on the beach everyday! There were tons of people just lined up on the beach just to watch that amazing sunset! Then we went shopping at the market and listened to a digery doo concert! Good Times!

Yeah for Pumpkin Carving!!!!

Me, Matt, Jason, Emily and Jenni carved pumpkins this weekend! It was so fun! We we all very creative! Me and Matty carved one together....when I told him I wanted a peace sign he drew it upside down, so we ended up with an upside down peace sign carved pumpkin! I thought ours looked the coolest though! YEAH! I love PUMPKINS!

Molli's Wedding!

Yeah my amazing high school friend and last years roommate MOLLI got married this weekend! Her reception was amazing and everyone and their dog was there, it was like a high school reunion, so fun! I especially loved seeing and being with all of my girls from last year...JENNI,EMILY, MARYANNE, and MOLLI! I love you girls...401 forever! Well the bad news is I didn't catch the bouquet so no weeding for me anytime soon in case you were wondering. I made it in her weeding video 6 times! YEAH! I love friends and weddings! Congrats Molls I love ya!

CHEER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just joined the ASU cheer club. We are really considered the ASU cheerleaders! We are going to cheer every once in a while at basketball games and go to competitions! Yeah! It feels so good to use my cheer muscles! We have practice 3 times a week! Yeah for cheer, I don't think I can ever get away from it! And I consider it a major missionary opportunity cause none of the girls on the team are LDS! GO SUN DEVELS!

I MEET GREG OLSON!

Last night there was a fireside at the institute and guess who spoke..........GREG OLSON! He was such a good speaker and told so many cool and funny stories about his paintings! Yeah! After words I went and meet him, and told him my favorite painting of his is 'Heavenly Hands' (this picture shown). Even though I have this picture autographed from him I got him to give me another autograph! It was the coolest fireside ever!

CLASS CANCELED!

So my Tuesday night class(business writing) was canceled this week cause my teacher wanted to watch the presidential debates! This is one of those rare time were you say....I LOVE COLLEGE! Yeah for canceled class and presidential debates!

One Week!

It is one week till General Conference! I am so excited! Every week before conference I do what I learned in seminary called a SPIRITUAL FAST. This Fast includes the following:
1. Only listen to church produced music
2. Only watch church produced t.v/movies
3. Pray before every meal
4. read scriptures double the amount than usual every day
5. read past conference talks
6. dress as Christ was standing next me
7. Only get on church produced and educationl websites(no facebook for a week it will be hard)
This is a great way to bring the spirit in our lives so we can be prepared for the counsel form our great church leaders!

PEOPLE WATCHING!

There is one thing that ASU is good for(besides getting an education) and that is PEOPLE WATCHING! There are over 65,000 students who go to ASU. Today I had 10 minutes before a class, I sat on a bench, and you guessed it PEOPLE WATCHED! I spent the whole 10 minutes looking at people and decideing who needed to go on the show 'What Not to Wear.' Thank you Stacy and Clinton for making my day interesting! There were a lot of people who needed to go on the show, so I need to write Stacy and Clinton and tell them to come to ASU! Sorry this is RANDOM, but it is my life!

GO DEVILS!!!!

Me and my friend Hannah went to the ASU football game this Saturday night! It was so fun! There are so many people screaming and wearing yellow shirts! I LOVED it! They had a dance team but no cheerleaders(cheerleaders got canceled for making porn). I loved watching the dance team! It was so weired to go to a football game and not wear a skirt and have a pom pom in my hand. So I am going to try out for the ASU dance team next year! Who knows if I will make it, but it would be so fun!

Oh the joy of teachers!

I am just venting, my calculus teacher is form India, and sometimes I feel like I am India because I can't understand a thing he says. Math is hard enough with someone who speaks English fluently, we don't need a language barrier to complicate that. Wish me good luck with the class! Thanks for listening to me vent, I hope everyone is doing good! My life is boring now, just school, so no more cool posts about going to Australia, Vegas, or California. You now get to hear about my crazy math teacher! haha NO WORRIES though!

First Day of School!

Well I surivied my first day as an ASU student! ASU is so crazy! Everywhere you look there are a million people! In my Accounting class there are over 300 students! Crazy! If I took that class at EAC there would be like 15-20! I am still trying to battle the big city traffic! There are cute guys everywhere that is the only good part! I will get used to it I am sure....maybe!

EDUCATION WEEK!

I just spent the last week at BYU going to Education week! all the classes were so great! I loved it! Hanging out with aunt LeNell and my mom was so fun! Hanging out with Buffy was great to!
